IMPORTANCE OF
STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT FOR SMALL BUSINESS
The strategic
steps in starting, sustaining and growing a small business will be
the topic discussed at "The Importance of Strategic Development for
Small Business" at the Hudson Library & Historical
Society on Monday, October 5th at 6:30 p.m. as part of the Fall 2009
Entrepreneurship Series.
Brian Walters, MBA, Certified Business Advisor with the
Ohio Small Business
Development
Center (OSBDC)
at the Summit Medina Business Alliance will be the speaker.
A firm's goals, financial and strategic objectives, core
competencies, differentiation, and the "Nine
Steps to a Strategic Management Process" will all be discussed at an
introductory level. Individual
business counseling sessions by the
OSBDC are
also offered at the library, by appointment, for
more one-on-one advice.
