 THE IMPORTANCE OF
STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT FOR SMALL BUSINESS

The strategic steps in starting, sustaining and growing a small business will be the topic discussed at "The Importance of Strategic Development for Small Business" at the Hudson Library & Historical
Society on Monday, October 5th at 6:30 p.m. as part of the Fall 2009 Entrepreneurship Series.
Brian Walters, MBA, Certified Business Advisor with the Ohio Small Business Development
Center (OSBDC
) at the Summit Medina Business Alliance will be the speaker.

A firm's goals, financial and strategic objectives, core competencies, differentiation, and the "Nine
Steps to a Strategic Management Process" will all be discussed at an introductory level.  Individual
business counseling sessions by the OSBDC are also offered at the library, by appointment, for
more one-on-one advice.
