Hudson’s own Julie/Julia at the
Library!
Join us at the Hudson Library and
Historical Society on Thursday, December 10, at 7 p.m., as Chef
Susan Townsend
presents a program on an all time favorite, crepes suzette. She
will be demonstrating both dessert crepes and dinner
crepes. This decadent French culinary delight will be presented
based on the recipes of cooking legend, Julia Child.
Chef Susan graduated from the New
England Culinary Institute in Vermont in 1995, where she helped open
the Main
Street Grill. Fine dining is her passion. She has worked for the
New York Yacht Club’s summer resort in Newport,
Rhode Island and Bellini’s Fine Italian Restaurant in Montpelier,
Vermont.
Registration is required, and
attendance will be limited to 40 people. There will also be a fee
of $5.00 paid in advance,
to cover supplies for the evening. This
may be paid by cash or check when registering at the reference desk.
Registration for this program begins Wednesday, November 11, and ends
Sunday, December 6. If you have any
questions, please contact the reference desk at 330.653.6658, ext
