Chef Susan
Townsend returns to the Hudson Library & Historical Society on
Thursday, February 11th at 7:00 p.m. with an
instructional program to delight everyone’s favorite Valentine
indulgence – chocolate.
Chef Susan, a
favorite of Hudson Library patrons, turns her attention this time to
different desserts incorporating
chocolate. Special recognition of Valentine’s Day and the ending to
a romantic dinner will be included in her presentation.
“Sweet tooths” are welcome, as samples will be part of the fun.
A New England
Culinary Institute graduate, Chef Susan interned at the New York
Yacht Club's summer resort in Newport,
Rhode Island, and was a former chef at Bellini's Fine Italian
Restaurant and the About Thyme whole foods cafe in
Montpelier, Vermont. She has also appeared on the television program
"That's Life" with Robin Swoboda.
To cover the
cost of ingredients, there will be a $5.oo fee due at the time of
registration, payable at the second-floor
reference desk.
