Creating a winning resume @ the Library

The Hudson Library & Historical Society will present “Creating a Winning Resume +” on Thursday,
January 7 at 7 p.m. in the Flood Family meeting room.

Jim Evans of the Akron SCORE chapter, will discuss writing an effective resume to emphasize your
skills, strengths, and career interests. Cover letters and interviewing skills will also be discussed.

In addition to its extensive business counseling services, SCORE (Counselors to America’s Small
Business) offers entrepreneurs and those considering starting a business workshops on a variety of
important business subjects. SCORE counselors have had successful business or industry careers.

The program will also feature Ralph Sinistro, Manger of the Summit County one-stop JobCenter.
The JobCenter is among Ohio’s best sources for job seekers. They offer classes, assessment tools
and a resource center dedicated to employment searches.

The workshop is free and open to the public, registration is required. Register by calling the
